In ‘The Landlady’s Humiliation’, is hard-hitting and haunting story of the price a 43 year old wife has to pay upon returning to her marriage following a doomed love affair with a much younger man. Her husband, humiliated and vengeful, exacts a high price for her return. Vividly told, the author takes us into the heads of her characters and the sordid and often brutal world they inhabit.
In ‘Sexual Blackmail’ a corrupt prison officer systematically preys on the wives, mothers and daughters of the prisoners he has locked up. In order to keep their menfolk safe, they must exchange sexual favours of the most degrading kind.
In ‘Fuckrag Mummy’ A respectable middle-class woman has a dark compulsion to seek sexual gratification in the high-crime ‘slum’ part of town. She is a Senior Parole Officer and fatally compromises herself by offering her body to a young male client. She finds out the hard way that brutal reality is much harsher than any fantasy.
